Expectations were laid out. Detaching from outcome was a large part of the lecture &#8211; not judging while working- simply doing the work.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gavinart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_4380.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[249]\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-275\" title=\"IMG_4380\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gavinart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_4380-223x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gavinart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_4380-223x300.jpg 223w, https:\/\/www.gavinart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_4380.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We discussed drawing with the left hand, and the importance of being aware and focused while working on drafting artwork.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the class was a lesson in portraiture &#8211; the class split in half, one side drawing the other, rotating seats every ten minutes.
